What is it?

It's a "Spook Theatre".  Let us explain.  Our seance parlor is a recreation of a parlor in a turn of the century home, where 4 guests join a host around an authentic seance table.  The parlor is fitted out with various effects from moving furniture to ghostly manifestations.  During a performance, your host will spin a spooky tale and perform a little magic, before the "Macabre Medium" takes over with his etheral voice and plunges the room back through time to relive a victorian seance.

Everything is kept in the era of the turn of the century.  No blood, gore, slashers,

demons, devils.  This is simply not the place for those characters.  We strive to scare you with atmosphere.  It is not a haunted house, it's a haunted experience.

Is it scary?

That depends on the person.  Most of our guests say it's "Theatrical" but not scary.  Some though have been "uneasy" during the totally dark portion.

Will anyone touch you?

No.  You may be brushed by a piece of cloth during the show but nothing living will touch you.

Is this haunted house?

No. It's quite the oposite. It's more of a look into the turn of the century theatre seances that used magic tricks and comedy. It is not intended to be scary or frightening.  It's intended to be what it is, a spooky experience.

Why such a small space?

A large theater would lose most of the atmosphere and realism.  Most of our guest's amazement comes the fact the parlor is small and unable to hide "tricks".

I have a small child:

Children under 8 will be confused but probably not frightened.  It is geared towards families.  We do have scary shows for those more daring and older.

Are their refunds:

No. We keep the admission as low as possible for this reason. BUT: if you reserve a show and cannot come for any reason, we will refund your money if you contact us 24 hours before your show time.

Do I have to participate?

At each show, each guest is given his or her task to do.

Whether it be figuring out a puzzle or interacting with the host.  You do not have to participate though; the host can skip you and double up on other guest's task.

It's more fun to participate.
